Educational materials

The following supports are necessary for your preparation for the PADI Divemaster:

1. PADI Instructor Manual. It is desirable that applicants have their own copy for their personal use and reference.

2. PADI Divemaster Manual. All candidates must read the manual and complete the Knowledge Reviews.

3. The Leisure Dive Table, Table or erdp version.

4. The Open Water Handbook.

Diving equipment

During training in a natural environment, each Divemaster candidate must be equipped with the equipment adapted to the local environment. 3. Practical workshop (STAGE) and endurance performance (NAGES):

1. towing over 100 meters.

2. swim 400 meters.

3. swim 800 meters PMT.

4. 15-minute lift.

4. Creation of an emergency plan and underwater mapping.

Prerequisites

• To take this course, you must:

• Be 18 years old.

• Be certified as a PADI Advanced Open Water Diver (or hold a recognized qualification issued by another training organization).

• Be certified as a PADI Rescue Diver (or hold a recognized qualification issued by another training organization).

• Have an Emergency First Response Primary and Secondary Care certificate (or hold a recognized CPR and first aid training qualification issued by another training organization) within the last 24 months.

• Have done and recorded at least 20 dives before starting the course and a minimum of 60 dives at the end of the training.

• Be in good physical condition and submit a Medical Declaration (PDF) signed by a doctor and dated less than 12 months.
